The British Motor Club of Canberra was only founded in September 2010 by a couple of free thinking Morris
Minor owners.
Financial member of the Council of ACT Motor Clubs.
- Our Aim -
To create a club that embodies a spirit of friendship and camaraderie, comprising members who own or appreciate
British (and other) historic vehicles. While our primary focus is on the Austin/Morris/MG/Riley/Wolseley
family the club welcomes all historic vehicles both original and modified, and of any origin.
Ours is an informal club, we have one (annual) general meeting per year, where the club's committee is randomly
selected from volunteers. All other members are effectively Committee Members, and all members have equal say.
We have at least two scheduled outings per month, and often attend events hosted by other clubs or organisers.
